Communications to the unit (as in all other MACs) is by telephone line, GSM, IP or RS232, and alarms can still be sent by email, SMS, voice, pager, fax and SNMP trap. Profline Exciting times for Profline customers as this month sees the first production run of the new SFD-IP. This professional FM demodulator is already used in its exciting version in many high quality FM re-broadcast applications. The new SFD-IP version offers a web gui for easy remote interfacing with a real “on screen” mimic of the front panel. There is also an MP3 streaming option available. This lets the unit stream back the received demodulated FM audio signal to a remote user – effectively anywhere – over IP.
